  1. The night that 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show' premiered, we had just moved from our house in town to the farm my dad always wanted. I was 9 years old, excited, nervous and a little homesick.

We watched MTM, where Mary moves to a new city, meets Rhoda & I fell in love with both these women immediately. Can't wait to check out all the Valerie blogs!

  2. Doug -- I can totally get why Mary and Rhoda would have helped you feel better about moving to a new city! I just wrapped up my post and scheduled it to publish tomorrow morning.
