Happy Birthday, Cher!

Cher turns 67 today, and to help celebrate the folks at Can't Miss TV invited me to post this groovy infographic showing the history of Cher's career. I'll always remember Cher's impressive movie career, especially as she hit her stride in films in the 70s and 80s, the decades I grew up in. Moonstruck remains one of my favorite romantic flicks, ever. Happy 67th to Sonny Bono's better half!

  1. I'm of the generation that sat slack-jawed as a child watching her "If I Could Turn Back Time" video. Even today, if I happen to catch it on TV...wow!

  2. Just wondering why you didn't mention anything about her marriage to Gregg Allman or of their child Elijah Blue?

  4. "Baby Don't Go" was actually S & C's first big single, but it's been overshadowed by "I Got You Babe" -- an inferior song in my opinion.

Seeing Cher drift like a stoned robot through her scenes on a 1967 "Man from U.N.C.L.E." episode, you'd have thought she'd never amount to any kind of actress. But she did.
